Levi first met his wife, Gabrielle, in the spring of 2014 while attending Washington State University. They were classmates in an undergraduate business course, an early chapter that would lead to both a lifelong partnership and a shared ambition to build something meaningful together.
After Levi graduated, the couple moved to Covington, Washington, where Gabrielle completed her degree through WSU’s nationally recognized online program. Grounded in their local community, Levi and Gabrielle began researching business models that could serve a real need and thrive in the area.
In November 2015, they opened their first business: a comfort shoe store in Covington, which would eventually become known as Gentry’s Footwear. The store quickly gained traction, and its success led to the opening of two additional locations, one at Kent Station in Kent and another at Point Ruston in Tacoma. Each expansion was driven by a shared belief in thoughtful growth and high-touch service.
As Gentry’s Footwear scaled, Levi focused on community engagement and grassroots marketing. He built strong referral relationships with local podiatrists and chiropractors, ensuring that patients with foot and back conditions had access to supportive, therapeutic footwear. He and Gabrielle also participated in charity fun runs and joined local market associations to give back and stay visible within their neighborhoods.
When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the retail landscape, Levi adapted quickly. He guided the business through supply chain shifts, health regulations, and economic uncertainty—continuing to prioritize his team, his customers, and the company’s core mission.
In 2025, Levi and his family relocated to Yakima, Washington, where he began the next chapter of his professional life in wealth management. After passing his Series 7, Series 66, and insurance licensing exams, Levi joined his father, a 35-year veteran of the financial advising industry, in offering personalized investment guidance to individuals and families. Today, he serves clients with the same integrity, care, and long-term thinking that defined his years in retail.
Levi Gentry continues to help others build financial security and generational wealth while drawing on the entrepreneurial lessons that shaped his early success.
Nestled in the heart of Central Washington, Yakima is known for its agricultural abundance, family-centered communities, and wide-open natural beauty. As one of the nation’s top producers of apples, hops, and wine grapes, Yakima blends rural roots with a growing entrepreneurial spirit.
With its scenic views of Mt. Adams, proximity to year-round outdoor recreation, and revitalized downtown, Yakima is more than just a hub for farming, it’s a place where people put down roots, raise families, and invest in their futures.
For Levi Gentry, Yakima represents a return to core values: hard work, community connection, and long-term planning. It’s where he continues his career in wealth management, helping local families navigate their financial lives with clarity, purpose, and confidence.
